EuroHash 2027 Update: 305 Days to Go!
We’re only 305 days away from what will be the most epic EuroHash ever! And there’s plenty happening behind the scenes as we get ready to welcome you to Bucharest.
Here are a few things you need to know!
Help Us Plan: Complete Our Questionnaire!
We need your input to help us make some important planning decisions. Please take a few minutes to complete our questionnaire no later than 19 October 2026.
We’ll be asking about:
Accommodation: Where you’re staying in Bucharest, so we can explore the possibility of coordinating early rego check-in options.
Arrival day: When you’ll be arriving in Bucharest.
RAU Dorm Rooms: Interested in a dorm room at the Romanian-American University if you haven’t booked accommodation yet? Let us know! We’re gauging interest to see whether this option is viable.
Saturday Party Theme: What theme would you love to see for our big Saturday night party? This is your chance to have a say!
Please don’t put this off. Your answers will help us make decisions and keep the planning moving! This was also emailed to you.
🏨 Romanian-American University (RAU) Accommodation – An Overview
We are currently negotiating a limited number of rooms at the Romanian-American University (RAU), located approximately 900 metres (a 13-minute walk) from Berăria H, our EuroHash party venue.
A note about the questionnaire: You will only see the RAU-specific questions if you indicated that you are interested in this accommodation. However, for anyone who is simply curious about the option, here is an overview of what we are currently working on.
RAU has a modern on-campus accommodation building with private bathrooms. At this stage, we hope to secure up to 60 rooms out of the 136 available, with the possibility that additional rooms may become available in April.
Please keep in mind that only 42 rooms have air conditioning.
💰 Estimated Maximum Pricing
The prices below are approximate maximum prices per night. We are still negotiating with RAU, so the final rates may be lower, but we do not expect them to exceed the amounts shown.
Student Room: Up to €30 per person/night, with twin beds and breakfast included.
Teacher's Room: Up to €90 per room/night for two people (€45 per person), with breakfast included. There are 14 Teacher's Rooms in total: 6 twin rooms and 8 rooms with a king/queen bed.
These estimates are intended to help you decide whether RAU might suit your budget and preferences. The rates are not yet confirmed, and expressing interest does not constitute a reservation.
⚠️ How Booking Will Work
Rooms cannot be booked individually through RAU. EuroHash Misman will need to coordinate the allocation, booking and payment, so we first need to understand how much interest there is before confirming how many rooms we can secure.
For each room, one person will act as the CAPTAIN. The Captain will:
Reserve the room through EuroHash Misman.
Make the payment for the room.
Coordinate with their roommate(s).
Communicate any changes to EuroHash Misman.
One Captain may coordinate multiple rooms, which would be a huge help if your kennel or group can organize several rooms together!
Please note that we will not match individual hashers with roommates. If you need a roommate, please use the designated subgroup within the EuroHash WhatsApp group to find one.
If you want a room but haven't found someone to share it with yet, you can either find your roommate(s) in advance or book and pay for the entire room yourself and look for someone to share it with later.
🛏️ Teacher's Rooms
Teacher's Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. RAU has not yet confirmed how many of its 14 Teacher's Rooms will be available to EuroHash, as faculty and students receive priority.
If you are interested in one of these rooms, please indicate it as your first or second choice in the questionnaire.
❄️ Air Conditioning
The accommodation building has 10 floors, with approximately 14 rooms per floor.
Floors 1–4: Rooms with air conditioning, although some may already be occupied by students.
Floors 5–10: Rooms without air conditioning.
If you are happy to stay in a room without AC, please indicate this in the questionnaire. Being flexible about air conditioning will significantly increase the number of rooms we may be able to secure.
For rooms without AC, RAU will try to place guests on the less sunny side of the building. 😎
We'll share further details once negotiations progress and we know what RAU can offer. In the meantime, these estimates should help you decide whether this option is worth considering!
